01The service
YearRecap (myyearonx.com) is an independent fan project that generates a year-in-review from your public posts on X. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
02Data Processing
When you connect your X account, we fetch your public posts and interactions to generate your recap. If you authorize it, we collect and store your email address for account management and billing. We do not permanently store your post history, and your X password is never exposed to us.
03Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive volumes, or present a recap as an official X Corp product.
04Intellectual property
The YearRecap name, logo, and design belong to this project. The X name and logo are trademarks of X Corp and are used only to describe the connection.
05No warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
06Changes
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
07Purchases and Refunds
The Full Recap is a one-time purchase processed via Dodo Payments. Prices shown on the site are the amount you pay at checkout. The regular price is $9.99. During early bird, the first 10 purchases are $4.99; afterward the price returns to $9.99. We send your email address to Dodo Payments so they can issue your receipt. Because the purchase gives immediate access to a generated digital recap, all purchases are non-refundable once the recap is generated.
